Are the pieces hand-painted?

Yes — every piece is hand-painted on fabric. Because of that, small variations in colour, brushwork, and finish are part of the character of each work, and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
How do I place an order?

Visit the Order page, choose the design code (e.g. M001, Z003, U002) and the bag or pouch style you'd like it painted on, and submit the form. We'll confirm availability, final pricing, and shipping by email.
Can I request a custom design or a design on a different style?

Absolutely. If you love a design in one collection but would like it on a different bag or pouch style — or you have a fully bespoke idea — mention it in the order notes or reach out via the Contact page.
How long does an order take?

Ready pieces ship within 3–5 working days. Custom and made-to-order pieces typically take 2–4 weeks depending on complexity and current studio workload. We'll confirm a timeline when we accept your order.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide from Nairobi. Shipping is calculated separately based on destination and weight, and is confirmed with you before payment. Any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
What currencies can I pay in?

Prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings (KES), Indian Rupees (INR), and US Dollars (USD). You can toggle the currency on the Order page.
How should I care for my piece?

Spot-clean gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid machine washing, soaking, bleach, and prolonged direct sunlight. Store flat or gently folded away from moisture to keep the paint and fabric in good condition.
Do the paints fade or crack?

The paints we use are made for fabric and are set to be flexible and long-lasting. With gentle care they hold beautifully — like any piece of art, they'll age most gracefully when treated with a little intention.
Can I gift a Kanzi piece?
